We have so many little moments every day in our crazy lives. It could be something completely unexpected, from your kiddos actually getting along, to your loved one, or co-worker grabbing coffee for you in the morning. For me, I have all of these moments and I know that I don’t appreciate them as often as I should. The same goes for me when I see incredible design, art, theatre, dance, or an eye catching magazine cover capturing innovative design. I think we all have our passions and those “little moments” that inspire us. Right now I am inspired by the mixture of vintage and modern pieces in a home. The idea that something “old is new again” is not a new concept. Melding an old vintage chair with a new modern pillow, or vase and a succulent is simply divine. This is one of those “moments” that gives that feeling of comfort, and of incredible style. You are bringing back that old couch that you know from your grandmother’s house, but with that new fabulous pillow that you spotted in the window at West Elm or in the aisle at Target.
